Less busywork. More of what matters.

I build custom solutions for sports teams, clubs, practices, and businesses of any size that make everyday work simpler, less stressful, and easier to use, saving time and money along the way.

What we solve

Whether it’s a manual workflow, a hard-to-manage document, repetitive data entry, or a dashboard you wish existed, the goal is the same: make it simpler, less stressful, and easier to use, and save you time and money. Sometimes that means a tool your team runs with one click. Sometimes it means the task handles itself, if that’s what you want. You stay in control either way.

Forms and paperwork

Waivers, permission slips, and intake forms that are simple to fill out and easy to track, with no more chasing signatures.

Schedules and sign-ups

Availability calendars, volunteer shifts, bookings, and reminders that are clear at a glance instead of buried in group texts.

Manual workflows

Approvals, handoffs, reminders, and status tracking that live in email threads and memory, turned into a clear process people can follow.

Documents and templates

Hard-to-manage documents made consistent, organized, and quick to produce, from agreements and invoices to reports and printable sheets.

Data entry and cleanup

The copy-paste and re-typing between systems, plus messy spreadsheets, made faster, more accurate, and harder to break.

Dashboards and reports

One clear view of the numbers you check every week, so you spend less time gathering them and more time acting on them.

Built for real teams

A few of the tools I’ve built for coaches, managers, and volunteers. The same thinking carries over to any business that still does things by hand.

For a coach

Lineup card labels

Roster labels for a lineup card that used to be filled in by hand, pen to card, to show who was playing for my son’s high school team.

For a team manager

One-button roster labels

A utility that prints roster labels for tournament sheets in a single click, for an organization still scoring games the old-fashioned way.

For a coach

Summer availability heatmap

A summer blackout schedule with a heatmap that shows player availability at a glance, so practices and camps get scheduled around who can actually be there.

For volunteers

Scoring cheat sheet

A mobile and printable assistant that demystifies a new scoring system, so volunteers can look things up fast and record game events quickly and accurately.

How it works

Nothing new to learn and nothing to replace. I build around the tools you already use.

  1. 1

    Tell me the pain

A free 20-minute call. You describe the task you hate most and how you do it today.

  2. 2

    I build it

I design the solution, test it with sample data, and usually deliver within a week for a flat price.

  3. 3

    You get time back

I walk you through it and tweak what needs tweaking. A care plan keeps it running.

A real example: waivers

Every season, a youth sports league I worked with printed the waiver PDF, filled it out by hand, and chased it back to the right person. I loaded the league’s primary PDF once and sent parents a single link. It opens a simple, easy page where they fill out and sign the waiver electronically, and it goes straight to the right owner.

Before

Printing the PDF, filling it out by hand, and getting it back to the right person.

After

One link. Parents fill it out and sign on a simple page, and it lands with the right owner.

Simple pricing

Flat quotes, no hourly surprises. Every project starts with a free call, so you know the price before we begin.

Quick Fix

from $150

One small, single-purpose tool, delivered in a few days.

Business Workflow

Quoted

Documents, data entry, dashboards, and larger workflows that touch several people. Quoted after a short call, so you know the price before we start.

Support plans

Basic

$30 / month

Fixes if something breaks, with email support.

Plus

$75 / month

Fixes, small changes each month, and faster response.

Business

from $150 / month

Priority response, regular check-ins, and ongoing improvements.

Youth sports and nonprofits get a community rate. Just ask.

Prices are starting points. I focus on projects that can be designed, built, and put to use in days or weeks, not long enterprise integrations that need many approvers. The final quote depends on what you need.

Friction Busters mascot: a muscular cartoon dog in green sunglasses holding a glowing laptop

Hi, I’m Tony

I solve problems for a living. For 20+ years I’ve worked in IT and product, helping build enterprise-level solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Friction Busters brings that same thinking to teams, clubs, and businesses of any size, where a good solution can give someone their week back and save real money. I’m not here to replace anyone’s IT team. I’m a trusted tech partner who removes obstacles so people can get meaningful work done.

It started close to home, helping coaches and managers around my son’s high school team, and grew from there. Then I built the Avon Grove High School club ice hockey team its first website in more than 20 years of history. I wove in photos and data from past seasons so alumni could feel proud and connected to the team they once played for, while promoting the current players.

My favorite part is still the reaction: “Wait, that’s it?” and “That just saved me hours.” I do it for clubs, school groups, businesses, and the admin, billing, or front-office team inside a larger practice or organization, anyone buried in manual work, documents, or data with no one who has time to make it easier.

Make clunky sheets, buggy tools, and repetitive tasks simpler, so your day gets easier.

Privacy and security

Simple and safe, especially when kids’ information is involved.

  • I collect only what a tool actually needs.
  • Anything sensitive, like signatures and payments, runs through trusted, established services.
  • I build and test with sample data, not your real records.
  • You own your information, and I’ll delete it on request.
  • Working with an IT team? I stay within the tools and approvals they already use, and I document what I build so it’s easy for them to support.
  • Want specifics? I’m happy to walk you through exactly how a tool handles data before we start.

What’s the one task you wish handled itself?

Send me a note. I’ll take a look and tell you honestly whether I can help.
